Get the bookThis design of a one page solar website is aligned with the goals of the company - more conversions. Whilst other designs may be more colourful or flashy, Solar Future's website focuses on the customer and not themselves.
The bright and colourful design gives off a welcoming feeling, very much of what you're after in a renewable energy company.
There were hints of green transitioning to blue colour scheme early in the page. Seeing more consistency in colour scheme would have been good.
The multiple ways of attempting to capture customer's email addresses is fantastic for lead generation.
This website is all about making community solar accessible for easier for consumers.
They are positioning themselves as the only option that combines community solar and financing at the same time.
The main take from this is the design is all about delivering value.
Using yellow as an accent throughout the design is bold as it is not a colour generally associated with the solar industry.
This may make it stand out against its competition. You can see consistent corner borders throughout which is quite unique.
There are more than necessary links to content on other pages. The home page should have one primary focus only.
The overall feel is that the company is reputable with hundreds of finished projects, testimonials with pictures and a gallery of finished work.
It has a contact form, google maps and appears to be reputable.
Overall, there are some inconsistencies with colour across the page (icons, sections)
This design manages to include a green accent on a blue overlay quite well. Great use of dark blue overlays to create contrast.
The overall page feels like it has a clean design with quite a decent amount of negative space.
Although photo colour selection was excellent, using fewer stock photos would portray more authenticity.
The Go Full design is the best one that we have found. The reason is that it has plenty of negative space and follows the new web design trends in asymmetrical layouts.
The picture usage focuses very much on family values and asks you to consider solar for your children.
The site also stands out from the rest by using orange as a main colour which is uncommon.
Overall, the design looks professional, but as you dive a little deeper, it feels as though the designer didn't put as much thought into the content as they could.
This ranges from the title and image mismatch to testimonial area pulling our attention to different locations.
This is one of the better designs because of the consistency in different shades of blue and the use of negative space.
The design feels professional, but could be improved by attempting to address customer's concerns.
Simple clean design of a solar installer website that provides residential and commercial solar.
Above the fold design is fantastic with clear call to actions. Footer is also excellent.
Content is lacking and does not answer the customer's question of "How can I trust you?"
Simple solar design that relies very much on its great photograph to tell what they are selling. They are clearly a residential solar installer.
This design is suitable for small solar installers that have great photographs, but don't want to spend too much time developing the website.
